Where to Start
The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) facilitates and strengthens relationships with corporate partners and private foundations to support the University’s students, programs, and institutional priorities.
Working collaboratively with the University’s leadership, Deans, faculty, Alumni Relations staff, and other key partners, CFR takes a coordinated approach to strategically identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward charitable contributions from a variety of prospective and active corporate and foundation partners.
CFR is able to support your interest in submitting a proposal to a private foundation or to partner with a corporate sponsor to enhance the mission of your event, program, or department.
Faculty and staff seeking to develop or strengthen a corporate or foundation relationship may receive technical assistance from CFR in one of the following ways:
- Assistance in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate and foundation support and partnerships
- Coordination of campus visits by corporate or foundation executives or program officers
- Writing, editing, and advising on proposals, and correspondence related to corporate and foundation partnerships and support
- Speaking on a variety of topics including grant writing, foundation support, and corporate partnerships, for student classes, faculty and staff meetings, or other educational venues
