University Relations and Communications
Concept: Know exactly what type of publication will meet your communication goal? Have no clue? Either way, we’re happy to help. Our team has combined experience of more than four decades crafting award-winning publications that meet strategic goals and produce results.
Budget: Knowing how much money you have to spend on a project is critical to the rest of the design and print process. While the creative consultation and graphic design portion of your project comes at no charge, there are costs to be considered for printing, mailing, and manufacturing. Our team will work with you to identify those costs in your project.
Timelines: There are many considerations beyond the actual time spent on designing your project that factor into how long a project actually takes to complete. Research, photo shoots, copy writing, editing, proofing, bidding, printing, distribution, mailing, and billing are all parts of the production process that we consider when planning the timeline of your project.
Even if your design request is very simple, it may be queued behind a number of other projects. At any given time, our designers may have 30-60 design jobs in our production queue, which is why it’s critical we adhere to timelines and manage expectations. The following timelines will help you as you plan your project:
• Exact reprints (no changes to design or text) - 2 to 3 weeks
• Web and Social Media graphics - 2 to 3 weeks
• Minor changes to existing design (replacing a photo or minor updates to text) - 3 to 4 weeks
• Posters/Flyers/Postcards/Rack Cards/Ads/Billboards - 6 to 8 weeks
• Banners/Newsletters/Brochures/Folders - 8 to 10 weeks
• Viewbooks/Editorial spreads for magazines/Information booklets/Elaborate or involved designs - 12 to 24 weeks
Each project we do is unique and may take more or less time than indicated above. Our team will work with you to determine the actual timelines of your project
If your design project is needed in less than three weeks, please contact AJ Newell at email@example.com before completing this form.
