UMW’s InfoScreens are currently displaying information about news and UMW events on the Fredericksburg campus in the Seacobeck Dome Room, the Campus Center, the Fitness Center, and the Anderson Center. At the Stafford Campus, screens display information in the lobby of each building.
The purpose of the InfoScreens is to educate the student body about external and internal news, as well as events happening on campus. They also are used to welcome visitors to the Stafford campus who are renting our facilities. (To read the InfoScreen policy document, click here.)
To submit events or announcements to the infoscreens, please follow these directions:
Events or Announcements:
Fill in the information on our Power Point announcements template or events template and send them by email to infoscreen@umw.edu. Please do not include more than one slide per file. Submissions should be received at least two weeks prior to the date the slide is to be posted.
Other Information:
Should you have an announcement that does not fit into one of the template formats, please contact the Department of Design Services to have a slide designed. Fill out the work order found on their web site, and allow enough time for them to create your slide.
